Trans Equatorial Propagation, TEP, is a propagation mode where the two stations working each other has to have the magnetic equator in between them. The signals can be very fluttery and sometimes even distorted with deep QSB. For us in northern Europe Es is often needed to reach to the TEP, which is quite frequent if you live in southern Europe. TEP is an important mode if you want to work the southern half of Africa.
